Review: Catching Fire By Suzanne Collins

"Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge."- Amazon
My Review
Oh dear me……I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that’s gripped me with this much suspense. It was really that good. Even with all the apparent success of the Hunger games ,Catching fire was still much more intense and penetrating than its predecessor. It seamlessly balanced all aspects of dystopia. The drama, the revelations and of course the rebellion
These three key aspects of dystopia were set to good work, as Suzanne Collins blazes through the literary world with this brand new book. Readers will be eagerly swept away into the dreadfully vivid world of Katniss Everdeen.
Rating: A+
