The Blurb
"Who could tell the origin stories of the gods of Olympus better than a modern-day demigod? Percy Jackson provides an insider's view with plenty of 'tude in this illustrated collection.
So begins Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, in which the son of Poseidon adds his own magic--and sarcastic asides--to the classics. He explains how the world was created, then gives readers his personal take on a who's who of ancients, from Apollo to Zeus. Percy does not hold back. "If you like horror shows, blood baths, lying, stealing, backstabbing, and cannibalism, then read on, because it definitely was a Golden Age for all that."
Dramatic full-color illustrations throughout by Caldecott Honoree John Rocco make this volume--a must for home, library, and classroom shelves--as stunning as it is entertaining. "- Rick Riordan's Blog

Yes, Finnaly! This is a great idea that I've been hoping Rick Riordan would do. Though I wonder how educational this is going to be. It would be awesome if Rick made a fun-to-read, yet educational booklet that could be used in schools. (In mythology units) Let's hope this is it!
The cover is GORGEOUS! I've always be meaning to start the Percy Jackson series but never really get around to it. I'm a fanatic of ancient myths and legends (not crazy fanatic...just really like it heh), so totally getting a book boner from it right now! Thanks for sharing and dropping by my blog!

Thanks! This isn't really PART of the Percy Jackson series, just a fun book on the side. I do love the cover though!
DeleteOh wow! This sounds great! I must admit, I don't know too much about mythology besides what was in his books, so something like this would be awesome!
