Rick Riordan Unleashes New Short Story - The Son of Sobek! [UPDATED]

Huzzah! I thought the day would never come! Rick Riordan has officially created a 40 page short story, featuring both PERCY JACKSON and  CARTER KANE! This new story is called The Son of Sobek, and is set to be released in the paperback edition of the Serpents Shadow. [March 7'th] 
But what if you've already bought the Serpents Shadow? Like most P.J fans? Well Rick Riordan tell's fans not to worry, for The Son of Sobek will be released as an E-book on June 18'th! Mr.Riordan also has decided to add a sneak peak of the House Of Hades in the E-book version of the Son Of Sobek!  Quote: "This is something fans have been asking me to do for years......I decided what the heck. Let's throw Carter and Percy together in a Greek-Egyptian dilemma and see what happens. The result was SO much fun to write."- Myth & Mystery
So there you have it! A 40 page short story by the author Himself. However if you're like me, who's now precariously courting the days until March 7'th, enjoy this carefully made excerpt of "The Son of Sobek".

    This sounds like it would be exciting for fans of both series. I personally haven't read either yet but I want to really bad. I need to set some time aside for them.

    Man I love both of these series! Rick Riordan has never gone wrong in my opinion with anything that he's written. I haven't had a chance to check this short story out yet, but I will. Thanks for sharing :) Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven
